This isn't a true cheese. But most of us had to deal with the Atlanta Vicks in Madden 04. Abusing them was as close to cheese in a sports game as you could get. Maybe using Tyson/Ali is on par.

Pick Cable. Pick Sentinel drones assist. From full screen throw grenades, shoot the gun and use viper beam. Use the sentinel assist a lot. This beats ANY player who isnt about that life. You dont even need to know how to play Sentinel Add in a Captain Commando anti air assist for when people get near you and you got the aptly named 'team scrub.'

Top tiers in Marvel 2 were BEAST at all levels of play. If two idiots are playing and one idiot picks Sentinel and the other one picks Spiderman or some shyt...my money is on the robot. Just Sentinel Fly and drop the boot repeatedly. shyt is

Even other complicated characters at a high level like Magneto bust ass at low level play. His special moves are dumb as hell, and even if you pick the wrong assist for him it will probably be aight
