Met a chick a few years back outside of my normal type that was super creative. Pretty decent at drawing and really good at singing. Being more into science, geek stuff I thought it was cool she did that for a living.

My GF now can actually draw quite well but she's stuck in corporate and hates it so I wish she would just pursue what she wants to do.

Also I recall a girl in college that I was smitten over (never really dated) that was a math whiz. She could do a rubix cube super fast so I thought that was cool.

When I met my wife she had tried to open a dance studio because she’s a really musical person and dancing was her first love. She got injured and couldn’t do it anymore.

She has absolute pitch and basically can pick up any instrument or DAW and make some seriously good music although she hasn’t made music in awhile.
That's fascinating.

Chica - I'm Creole and I'm into voodoo/hoodoo/obeah. - Why did I not run? (I didn't run cause she put that Baduism on me...
You're a yardman. You could have just got the roots man to give you charm or something for protection.
Low key, a lot of exes/girls I dated don't have what *I* would call hobbies, unless you consider fashion, make up, hanging out with friends, or gossip as hobbies. All of these women have degrees and good jobs, but my potnas race cars, make beats, do graffiti, video games, hiking, boating/yachting, etc.
Sounds like regular woman shyt.

Did She have a dungeon in her basement? :ohhh:

Would be wild to go down there to flip a fuse and find chains and whips all over the floor :russ:

Not necessarily hobbies but I had a few interesting joints

- 6ft+ Russian pro hooper :noah:

- Italian model who was married to some nikka who worked for the Vatican. I blew her back out raw for a whole weekend in their penthouse on Park ave :wow:

- this model bytch who practiced voodoo. I usually clapped her out in hotels but one time i was in jersey for a dj conference and went to her crib. This bytch had hella items from her ex in a corner of her room. She had some of this nikkas hair in a ziploc bag. Soon as i left i slowly weened myself outta her life with hopes she didnt make a Hot Rod doll and start sticking pins in that mf :dead:

It’s funny, I’ve realized most people don’t have a hobby they actually do.

Especially now, most people are just online all day watching other people do stuff they’re interested in.

Then they comment on it. It’s a bunch of keyboard warriors and critics but not artists/hobbyists themselves.
I was under the impression that film is a legitimate hobby. It had been one for decades . And it evolves. Kinda like how collecting baseball cards evolved into collecting nft baseball or NBA highlights.

For example, I knew a woman that was crazy into black/white Alfred Hitchcock and Akira Kurosawa films. Would get into arguments with me about why stuff like 12 angry men was a cinematic masterpiece and could quote the actor's lines and new their real life bios til' death.

While that woman chose to keep her love of film static, others chose to evolve it. Film hobbyists went from collecting millimeter film reels, to collecting Lazer discs, to collecting DVD directors cuts. As crazy as it sounds, i think social media is the next stage in the original film hobby. Rather than collecting film reels from Billy Wilder clips, you now collect YouTube reels of sniperWolf. You quote her vids, and follow her real life bio just like in folks did for old school film.

Girl im talking to now makes mixed drinks. Put me onto so many tasty combinations from different countries.

Used to talk to this girl that dissected lizards and frogs and shyt just in her free time. Like she had a company just sending her ready to dissect perserved small animals and shyt. "yesss so i've got a Japanese gecko coming in on Tuesday do you want to come over?" shyt was alot. crazy because outside of that she was as basic as they come.
