I remember it and i never made an alias. Several people have confirmed it was a thing while others are saying it wasn't. makes me think that maybe this was something they implemented early on (or maybe later on.) so people some people might no have been required to have an edu depending on when you signed up.
but either way it sort of kills the point i was making. clearly not everyone on sohh was in college or a graduate before migrating here.

This is pretty much it, a lot of cappin too. We have some major outliers on this site when it comes to $ both in the positive and negative aspect. I can never say for certain, but I believe from the way a few posters have commented, the sources(books & websites) they quote, and knowing “industry talk” they were either in or very near some high level forms of banking.

There are a bunch of blue collar job paying $80k plus. Take up welding, hvac, electrician, plumbing all can be done with less than one year schooling. They were starting welders at my old job at $38 an hours with guaranteed overtime, all those brehs were taking home over $100k with OT.
