So basically if it ain't law, medicine or computer science it's overrated?

My boy had a computer science degree, IT Security or something like that. He couldn't find a job for over a year.

He's a white guy that attended a poorly performing HBCU tho, idk if that had anything to do with it.

No degree is useless if you can sell yourself and know your end goal

A degree is only useless is you're just doing it to get a piece of paper and have no idea what you wanna do with it.

I'm doing my undergrad for a degree that coli heads would consider useless, but my end goal is using that degree to get into a master's program to land me the career I'm passionate about.... Don't think people will call it useless when I'm in a career I enjoy making enough money to live comfortably in a heavily populated city

He thinks your degree is overrated and other business degrees :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol: only on the coli
I still do. You can have any degree (or even no degree) and do well in life but having a degree in a specialized business area >>>>>> a business administration degree
A business admin degree could wonders for those trying to be a consultant OR a manager (although MBAs might be more helpful) but you aren't starting off your career in management :duck:
Anything else you try, relying on your degree to help you (instead of wits/hustle/drive to stand out) is going to get you fukked compared to people who specialized.

Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
Economics if you don't go to a school known for it, or if it's not explicitly part of the business school instead of Liberal Arts. Not a cakewalk degree, but any job you want in business, all else being equal an employer would rather go with a finance or accounting major.

Any job you want outside of business you would have better been off majoring in something else and preventing unnecessary stress :ld:
