Vol 2 is trash outside Jigga What Jigga Who, Hard Knock Life, A Week Ago and the Bleek Intro...most those beats aged HORRIBLY

Money Cash Hoes beat sounds like a retard sticking a keyboard down his pants

I Am shyts on it, NY State of Mind Pt 2, Hate Me Now, Small World, Favor for a Favor, We Will Survive, Ghetto Prisoners, Life Is What You Make It, Nas Is Like, Undying Love, etc
I wasn't feeling this post but the bolded :mjlol:

Carter 3 is my answer, and those Weezy mixtapes around/during I Am Not A Human Being

Get Rich or Die Trying, Every Kendrick album, Take Care, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, King

i can agree with this across the board, except for section 80. accolades well deserved on that one

Vol 2 sold so well because Hard Knock Life, Can I Get A, It's Alright, and various features were out at that time. That was back when people bought albums without even knowing if a song/single was on an album, they just bought it because whatever song(s) they heard was hot.

You could probably take 10-20% of late 90's/early 00's sales as repeat buys from where people had to replace lost, stolen, or scratched CDs like 2 or 3 times

Never in my fukkin life outside the internet have I met a Nas fan, let alone people who think he is better than jay z. You nikkas have to be trolling with this
That’s cause most people are stupid and associate popularity with quality

Wayne doesn't get enough respect at the moment. Carter III is easily top 10 this millennium and i'd argue 3 Peat is one of the strongest openers of any album in history. Wayne fukking destroyed that beat. Carter III was the perfect culmination of an aggressive takeover of hip-hop. It's Wayne's finest hour. He reached the summit of Everest and fell off the other side unfortunately.
Carter 3 was when Wayne went commercial and started declining
It was still a good album but some of those songs aged terribly

Every Kanye album from the 2010s. Yeezus sounded like complete :trash:, and MBDTF was a really good album, but it's not the pinnacle of hip hop, and it's not even his best album.

Tha Carter III. I actually liked it, but I don't get the hype behind Wayne. He comes off as someone that was decent, but the production was what carried him and half the time, it sounds like he doesn't know what to talk about.
