Idk about "ever", but imo;
This album is
NOT a bad album. Its a very good project. But thats it imo. But all this overly praise it gets i just dont see. It seems most of
the praise is about the style of production & "new" producers it brought into the game or limelight (Ie. Just Blaze, Kanye etc).
Cuz his spitting wasnt anything new or different. Actually, imo, his flow wasnt even as sharp as the previous albums. The content was definitely more polished & more mainstream shyt imo. So i just dont see it.
But of course its the Nas' shyt, the production like i said & shyt like that. Definitely got dope cuts on it tho.
Edit:
Come to think about it, these albums too.
imo its only really "praised" cuz of the "lifestyle" Jeezy portrayed & made young folks eat it up with the whole BMF shyt & all. Some dope beats in there tho. But how is it different than your average album? Cuz dude was 100% image, no skill or nothing else really.
Does this even count? Only Eminem stans praise this. And we all know they praise the toilets he sits on. Benzino was right. Eminem can rap, but the issue was the machine behind him & what they were & been using him for. Its not a conspiracy neither. Got some dope joints on it tho.
