Who you got?

To keep it interesting, leave out one hit wonders and novelty acts. Talking acts that was around for more than a minute, had a run near the top, but not much influence on the next generation. :jbhmm:

First one that come to mind for me is Ludacris

Wyclef Jean

... You could argue D'mile is his contemporary from a national (Haitian American) & production standpoint (Grammy winner).

Clef a great choice. In this case, might be due to the uniqueness of his situation and style. Dude blended a lot of genres and styles, and once in a while something island based or influenced take off in the US, but usually it's a niche audience checking for it

Ludacris lowkey.

Skilled rapper but his influence is very limited for an artist of his stature.

Kid Ink always had a video on TV or song on the radio for a few years, never met a fan of his in my life tho

Im sure him lookin like Chris Brown made the labels invest in him thinking he would get a fanbase, mostly female, off that
