The Miami Heat were appointment television.......

So much people ate professionally off that team while pandering to the braying numbskulls...

I am sure silver would love to get a squad of villains together......People honestly do not care about parity in the NBA...They care about heroes, villains, breakthroughs, narratives
this is why ppl like :skip: & :sas2: get paid the big bucks. Love em or hate em, they create storylines, villains and heroes and the masses eat it up.

Explain? How did the league break that team up? Bron just left lol
Let's not act like the lottery was legit with Cleveland winning 4 years in a row or whatever it was they won in a row and there was the structuring of the current cba being designed to keep teams like them from forming or sticking together.

I'm not surprised at all actually. I would always expect the biggest Eastern conference draw to have the highest ratings just based on time zone. This is assuming interest however. The Lakers and Spurs in 04 not being on there anywhere is the biggest surprise to me. You would think Game 5 would've drawn higher ratings.

The Spurs were legit awful to watch back then. They muddied up every game they were involved in.

This. Duncan and pop are two of my favorite sports figures and I hated watching them if it wasn't against a team that would try to force them to play fast. Some of he ugliest basketball you'll ever see until Parker and Ginobili could really take over a game.

people dont really fukk with the Spurs like that

I bet most people that watched that game would have been laker fans and not casual viewers

During that Heat run people that didnt know a lick about basketball suddenly had fukking opinions about Lebron and company...

seriously go back and read some of the news articles during that period

People were never more emotional and reactive on Twitter than during Heat play-off games. Indiana Pacer fans coming out the woodwork. nikkas sobbing on the timeline because they hated LeBron so much. :mjcry:

Young people, old people, all races, male, female, casual, die-hard...everyone wanted to speak on the Heatles. :whew:

What a time... :wow:
