Look at Method Man. We had him at such a high standard that he never could meet and we act like the fact that most weed smokers are slackers isnt the reason for all those gaps between albums. Look at Juelz Santana......dude is such a pothead which would explain why he couldnt even put his lyrics together for the gauranteed platinum Lil Wayne/Juelz album. Look at Cypress Hill, they couldnt even make any noise in the new millinieum.
Now Snoop on the other hand. In 2016 this dude is still shining. Snoop is always popping up somewhere doing something interesting. All those weed smoking rappers from the 90's are null and void in 2016 yet Snoop never slacks. Dude is so consistant with being able to drop a dope album every few years. Remember when Snoop first came out and he had this whole "brain dead nikka" image...always looking down when being interviewed? Yet instead of growing into a burnout dude grew into an icon who's personality just keeps maintaining as the years pass.
