There's dosing amounts on the packaging and instructions telling you to start with a small amount.
But I hope u understand the reasons these dangerous items are publicly available is only because very powerful (and wealthy) people lobbied for it. Do you know what lobbying means? In its most simplistic form, lobbying is when you convince law makers to enact rules that benefit you (or your business).
So this argument of “you shoulda been more careful” is not only reckless but also a very shortsighted take on matters that can have severe repercussions.

I have the same question. The caption is not specific. Basically "he ate edibles...he died." What is the "medical emergency" they mention? Did he have a heart attack? Did it induce vomiting and he choked on the vomit? etc

That story in the OP does not check out. It clearly says the kid would've been been fine had he gone to a hospital so it wasn't the THC.
It's always said that you'll be fine if you take too much edibles. You'll feel like shyt but it's not deadly.

If u go buy a product that is say cocaine, u know out the gate it’s dangerous. How do you know? Because the law clearly says it’s an illegal substance. So when u decide to consume cocaine which u most likely got from dubious sources, u know to be careful. You’re already on high alert.
