When a person says they don't care about the responses a female gets over her choice in dress, they're not condoning rape. They're talking about the attention a female will get because of what she chose to wear. No doubt a lot of women wear leggings because it's comfortable but you're a damn fool if you think a lot of them aren't wearing them because they're looking for attention too. modern women want to have sex with as many men as they want with no negative connotations
modern women want to not be overly sexualized by men
modern women want to not be approached by men in spaces they haven't approved of
truth is modern women want everything but don't want to concede anything. I'm not even mad at it. Just don't think you can sexualize yourself while also avoiding being sexualized by men. We're somehow trying to move away from the days where women were treated as sex objects only good for popping out babies and fulfilling male needs while ALSO having women be more and more overtly sexual in dress and actions. I get taking back their sexuality but it's still a bit counterproductive IMO
