I read a post by @Smooth3d, that essentially said that Gran Turismo 5 was a flop. I would like to ask what does he consider a flop?

1. GT5 had unprecedented support with extensive patches and updates. The game is a much, much, much better game on day of release. When I say updates I'm talking features updates for free not in the DLC pay for variety.

2. It out sold Forza 3 and 4 by itself 2 to 1, thats both games combined.

again what do you mean flop? I'm just curious of your definition.

again what do you mean flop? I'm just curious of your definition.

What I mean by flop is that it was a failure compared to its previous success. The gt series use to be system sellers that not so true anymore.
