dude was winning regularly with washed up old players like scholes, giggs, ferdinand in his later years
Would agree with you but he had spending power galore...Rooney, Ferdinand, Veron these were players bought for £30m each nearly...some of us remember his Cantona teams getting beat up in Europe till he and others cried about the foreigner rule (Giggs was counted as a foreigner then)
He only won 2 European cups in 25+ years with a spending powerhouse like Manyoo...Mourinho would have won 10 in that time with his teams...
I will give him the fact he overturned Liverpool and rebuilt his team after Ince, Hughes etc..
