Just go on Tubi and catch some flicks or just fast forward to the credits and peep the names and @s and start politicking breh.

I remember bro too. shyt my first time rocking with y'all was around 2008. I wasn't a daily nikka until around Covid but my threads rang bells when I was here lol. I always posted my mans music and clips from when we were out and about.

I honestly believe it's risky when dealing with strangers and definitely strangers online, but if ain't nobody eating good and everyone is contributing to the cause, it's easy to subtract fukk nikkas and I've always specialized in shyt like that.


So if nikkas know they talented and willing to kick it face to face on Zoom, I can pink apart the ones with agendas .

Still breh scripts take a minimum of three months and that’s only your first draft. Writing a script first is like replacing your engine when you just need an inspection sticker. It’s unnecessary work.

If you’ve never done this before I heavily suggest you build an outline and focus on making a great treatment.

I’m going to tell you something I learned about the entertainment business.. and this is from first hand experience as a former manager of talent and someone who gave an idea to a person and watched them sky rocket but leave me behind. No hard feelings, btw, because it couldn’t have worked based on streets politics out here anyway…

What I learned is no one is going to fukk with you or your idea unless you have a co-sign from someone with connections, OR you do ALL the work first to make it a hit and they have no choice but to fukk with you. No one is going to just make your idea pop for you. Ideas are a dime a dozen.

Script or Treatment when it comes to rights is gonna depend on your leverage and how much it means to you. As for creative process that’s a nebulous term breh, but if you mean expanding the idea they can come in before during or after.

The original ghostbusters treatment had them as garbage men. Listen to the breh @Wig Twistin Season he speaking facts.

This guy, Francis Galluppi, kind of has the same background as you. He was a drummer in a punk band. He didn't go to school either. He said YouTube had everything that he needed to learn how to write/direct. I watched his movie and I would have thought he went to film school.

He got his start directing music videos for other bands. Then he started doing commercials for local businesses. Eventually he worked his way up the ladder and quit his job to focus on his new career.

If you just want to write you I'd imagine you can work with some people in your music scene, doing videos or promo work, since it sounds like you have experience and connectionsthere. From there Id think you can link up with some of those independent film studios in Detroit that produces movies. I don't know what genre, budget, or whatever you want for your movies but the connections and experience goes a long way in the entertainment industry.

Word of advice. Keep your ideas to yourself because there are thieves lurking. Theres been people who have stolen ideas and thoughts from members on here and not even credited them either. Folks stealing names, personas and etc.
