the boot camp half and the war half almost seem like totally different movies

As a youngin' I always fell asleep after the basic training part didn't even watch the rest until I got older, its not bad, its just so different from the beginning of the film. Plus their Sergeant in basic training had quotables for days and after that there was no more comedy to be found in the movie. Just death and despair

Click...you expect the typical Adam Sandler film...but instead gets kinda dramatic EDIT: Beat me to it

Rob Schnider...The Chosen One....based off the trailer/posters () and the fact it's rob schnider, you'd expect the same bullshyt he always does...but in actuality, those few scenes in the trailer were the only funny parts (and even then, they spun some of those scenes to make it look funny, when they weren't)...it's really more dramatic...like the hanging scene wasn't like that at all.

Fight Club is one that comes to mind that I just found myself at the entire time.

Still one of my favorite movies, it starts with dude not being able to sleep, and going to these meetings and being annoyed with this chick. Then he meets Tyler and they start this club for men. Then one day, all of a sudden, they become domestic terrorists.



Still love this movie. Quotables for days. But uhh...yeah.
