90 percent of 80s films. everything was so cheesey. the music,clothes,acting,almost universally horrid.

A lot of Van Damme flicks imo.
Belly ( I loved this flick when it came out and today I couldnt tell you why )
Above The Rim ( Lol at me just realizing within the past few years, Pee Wee Kirkland played the Georgetown talent scout that came to Kyles games. Lol @ the game when Shep came back supposed to be in the summer but nikkas on the side wearing bubble vests, hoodies, and leathers.)
The Rock ( another movie I loved when it was new but caught it late one night when I couldnt sleep and was like

just because you repeat yourself doesnt make your statement correct. LOL. it doesnt SEEM to age well to YOU because you already know the scenes so you're WAITING for your favorite scenes. that waiting game makes it SEEM slow...to YOU.
a movie not aging well has nothing to do with the above way of watching a movie you've seen in the past. a movie that has aged gracefully

you say how so? there has never been a better highschool movie like that since. in addition, the fact there were two stories being told at the same time. the 1st story applied to high school kids and their issues. the 2nd story was that of the janitor and principal-the adults. i was a kid when i saw that movie. now i'm an adult.

Pulp Fiction hearkens back to a certain style of writing. It's Tarantino's ode to the Pulp Magazines that he grew up with. So what you're seeing as it not aging well, was actually there on it's release date and was done with purpose.
But sometimes I think people just say controversial shyt just to say it. The movie is what it is. There are no corny references, setups, etc. The message in the movie is universal.

Some of the stuff people are in naming has aged fine, it's just that you're older now and more critical and see some things for the pieces of shyt they are.
