Reservoir Dogs / Pulp Fiction are both good answers. Loved both at the time but once you've seen them too many times they feel "done". Like so much of their appeal was in their novelty but once they become familiar they start feeling contrived.

A lot of the over-the-top action flicks people have been naming are good ones too.

Once you get used to Quentins gimmicks you can almost predict his movies scene by scene. plus the overabundance of n word usage even in the films with zero black characters sticks out

:dahell: you don't gotta be on some PC shyt to see they fukking raped the chick

Exactly. I never rocked with that ultra-PC neoliberal philosophy. A lot of them are just as :mjpls: as these Trump supporters. (And for the record, I think both parties are full of it).

Raunchy comedies are cool, but certain scenes in Revenge of the Nerds were :whoa: even by 80s standards.

Now Blazing Saddles, Coming to America, I’m Gonna Git You Sucka, and Don’t Be a Menace, on the other hand? :banderas:

The Usual Suspects and Se7en released a month apart in 1995. The Usual suspects won the Oscar, yet Se7en has clearly aged better. I can't remember the last time I've seen any reference to The Usual Suspects within the last 10 years, but "What's in the box?..." is quoted by folks who were born after 1995.
