I love Sucker Punch.. but it really wouldn't have been a hit as it is.
Sucker Punch would have done better if the movie was just that cool look girls do cool shyt in a steam/cyberpunk setting.
The whole institution thing should have been a separate flick

came in here to post this and requiem of a dream. requiem was rated nc17 and altho they double the profit, it should have been way bigger. it was one of the realest movies id ever seen. down to the acting and editing. that movie is epic and highly underrated.
on a lighter note: is Hancock considered a flop? i just saw it recently and notice no one ever talks about it. I was entertained.
Only thing I'll disagree with is..

Dredd definitely should have been a hit.
The Nice Guys should not have been released inbetween CW and X-men. It got sent out to die.

The one movie I think should have been a hit but flopped that no one has said is From Paris with Love. That was a fun ass flick

I totally ignored this movie, but based on the fact that several people mentioned it in this thread I'll look for it.
The A Team was good?nah I'm seriously asking I never seen it.
The Losers Flopped - kinda funny because looking back at it now this movie had an all star cast. Chris Evan's was hilarious in this
A-Team was dope. It was just as ridiculous and over-the-top, and fun as the series...complete with cliche villains. They flew a tank.

The initial response to Heaven's Gate killed Michael Cimino's career after he won an oscar for Best Director(Deer Hunter). Had a critical reassessment when the directors cut dropped and is now considered one of the greatest movies of all time

That movie is in my top 100 GOAT flicks tbh and has been for a while. It was a genuinely good movie and it's a shame it was a BO flop..but as time has gone on, I appreciate it even more for being the catalyst to RDJ's career and actual physical rehabilitation and sobriety. If not for KKBB, we would never have gotten him as Sherlock Holmes and therefore no Iron Man and quite frankly, maybe no Avengers or MCU as it exists overall.
