Forrest Gump - me and my mom was just having a quality time day and went to the movies and picked this randomly - neither of us had heard of the book or knew anything about the movie, it might have been the first or second weekend before WOM got out about it - it was such an amazing story tho. I love that movie til this day

Same with me with Dredd. The liked the original with Stallone not because I thought it was a good movie. I just enjoyed Stallone and Wesley.

So when the reboot came out I had low expectations. No obvious star power. I was like oh shyt when I saw it


I rewatched it last month and it’s still holds up. That slo mo drug in the movie is ill as fukk.

Dredd gave her the slow mo drug then threw that bish off the balcony and waved at her

Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. I expected a Peter Pan tone, Cutthroat Island-esque light/action/adventure/comedy. I was pleasantly surprised
