My dad wouldn't let me watch Beavis and Butthead but had no problem with me seeing nudity or sex scenes in movies as a kid because he said sex was natural lol

:what:

I saw that shyt when I was like 11, had me hiding under the covers :damn:

now I'm just like :beli: this shyt aint real

With me its the other way around.

When I was a kid I was like, "yeah whatever, this sh!t ain't real, just a movie".

But as a grown man that believes in Heaven and Hell when I see this movie now it freaks me out cause I'm like "This sh!t is real, it could happen". As an adult if u believe in those things it makes it scarier IMO.

Funny enough, my moms never really got on my case about what I could or couldnt' watch as a kid growing up. I mean, I doubt she would've been cool with me watching movies with sex all up in them (although when I was 11 or 12, I did watch Sliver with her, but I don't think she knew what that movie was gonna bea bout going in, as it was just a random Blockbuster rental...talk about awkward; same thing happened with Fear of the Black Hat years later, but she turned it off talking about it was stupid, only for me to watch it for dolo a lil while later), but there's rarely any memory of times that she's told me that I couldn't watch stuff.

Hell, there's been times when she had me in the room watching R-rated movies with her or my uncles/other adults. All she would say is don't do what's been shown really. I vividly remember watching Predator my first time with her and other fam in the room and I couldn't have been much older than 6 or 7, if that old even. Harlem Nights I remember watching with her as well and I would have her cover my eyes when nudity was shown, lol. I know she took me to the movies with her when she saw The Fly 2 and I was about 4 or 5 then as well and I just got scared and closed my eyes till I feel asleep and woke up at the end credits.

Believe it or not, My parents allowed me to watch R rated movies, NC-17 movies, fukking porn, that tentacle anime shyt, but they banned me from watching wrestling because of the friggin Undertaker and his demonic symbols. :snoop:

That's a true story.

The only movie I remember being told I couldn't watch was "The People vs. Larry Flint". I dont even know why at 10 years old I wanted to see that movie, but my dad had seen it and when he found out I wanted to watch it he was like "naw".

My mom would let me watch pretty much anything but would make me leave the room if there was a sex scene in it.

Exorcist.

My parents never let me watch this and throughout the years it was so mysterious. I kept hearing how scary it was, and people saying it's the scariest movie of all time.

Maaaaaaaan bought that shyt for 5 at book off cause I thought it'd be worth it to have the physical copy. Got home :lawd: this is going to be good.

Boring wackest shyt I've seen in my life. shyt was straight asscheeks. :what: really now I know why they didn't want to expose me to that boring garbage. Now my son watches that shyt like it's a comedy laughing and everything.

tell the truth home girl, you had nightmares for months.

Not sure how I forgot it but IT.
I caught PART of it and freaked the fuk out. Needless to say i wasn't allowed to watch the rest of it.

I manned up years later as a teen and was sorta upset with myself, but i could see how as a kid that movie could fuk with me.

IT is one of my favorite horror movies ever. I watched it for the 1st time when I was about 10 years old and the sh!t traumatized me. 1st night after watching it I couldn't sleep a wink the whole night. I had nightmares for months.

And about a year later when I was finally getting over it I was watching TV one day and a commercial for the movie came on.

I was like :sadbron::sadcam: Not again! Not agaaaaain!

Man, they didn't let u watch problem child? That's crazy! Problem Child was my sh!t as a kid. Whenever it was on I'd be like :popcorn::yes:

My uncle used to own a video store, so I had access to everything in there.

No cencorship in my household.

Until I found porn in my parent's bedroom, snatched it, watched it and forgot where to put it back ... never found it again after I left it in some random-ass spot. Safe to say, I wasn't allowed to watch that again.

"The Sex Dens of Bangkok" - My parents were on one with that shyt :laff:

I was mad young, and my parents had bought the Jerry Springer: Too Hot for TV video. They invited friends over to watch the shyt, and they sent me outside to play until it was over...

I was in the window peeking, trying to get a glimpse
