Right about now, the franchise is damaged beyond repair. They need to take at least a ten year hiatus until people forget about the current trainwreck and then start from scratch. Depending on how the mandalorian plays out, they could maybe build from there, if they manage to not fukk that up down the line too.

What should have happened is Lucas should have hired one good director that followed his vision and then have him direct VII - IX.

With this new "Disney-Canon", they need to leave the Skywalker saga the fukk alone. They fukked it up.

Go forward or back 1000 years and do something new and fresh with people we've never heard of.
