Don't live in the city. live in Lower Merion, its really like across the street to Philly. Ardmore, shiit like that
I may be relocating from Boston to Philadelphia proper for work. I would be looking at apt or condo west Center City / Rittenhouse / Fitler Square.
Can any brehs speak on day to day life? Safety? Going out? Anyone live in both places?
Daps + reps for any good info![]()
Center city area? Liking it?I have a home in Elkins Park and rent a condo downtown so I can give you advice on that
However, if you’re weak-minded and/or don’t know anyone here, I suggest you don’t move here unless you just plan to go to work and come home
Influx of out of towners makes sense given NYC cost of living. This is more encouraging, thanks for the thought out response brehThese are the neighborhoods to live in
Art Museum
Fairmount
Rittenhouse
Northern Liberties
Certain parts of South Philly
Society Hill
Penns Landing Area
Fishtown
University City
Washington Square
Graduate Hospital
If you looking somewhere further out, Chestnut Hill
Surrounding counties you got Delco to the west and Montgomery County to the north. These are if you looking to buy a house though
Safety is cool the city is just like any other city. If you not in the mix you good. Just watch out for youngbols and homeless.
Day to day life the city is the shyt breh and its getting taken over by New Yorkers and surburban folks at a fast pace. Think Brooklyn in the terms of development.

Dunno if Presidential has been updated, the apartments were shyt when i used to come thru 10-15 years ago, but the area is great for commuting... best area to live bar none.Center City is safer than most parts of philly
Center city isn't really residential though
Do you want to be in a diverse area, cac area, blk area?
I think the best place to live in the philly area is presidential city apartments on city line ave
Depending on your age, Univ City is cool too
Manayunk, Northern Liberties & Fishtown if you don't mind an abundance of cacs
