Moving out apartment w/pests

Right now I’m bc my apartment is 1/4 of my monthly income but it cost a pest problem.

First night, had a small roach problem and but I had the complex spray and it’s been straight so far. But now ants are in this mfi sprayed borax and sugar on their trails but in congested areas in the laundry room I can’t get em. The complex said they’re spraying today.

Woukd y’all move out? This is my first real spot and it’s only a 6 mo lease. I could move and pay 350-400 more for a nice spot but I’m not tryna put the money down. I got a plan when I’m saving/investing so many dollars per month.

But this shii embarrassinghaving females come over and having a dusty spot. Not to mention other nasty shii here and there but Ima get a major raise in 2.5 Years so I’m tryna hold out till then

If you have ants I can, guarantee that you neighbors are infested which means the whole complex is infested. I would move if I can

get a bunch of roach motels AND some sticky traps specifically made for ants..
save receipts and read the lease, see if there is any provision that they can reimburse you for pest control costs


they might laugh at you, but try anyway

borax is a good long term solution but you need to put a strong dent in the infestation now

Ive never dealt with roaches before but cans of Raid spray have always gotten the job done when dealing with ants.

Eliminate the trail, use bleach, the sugar might actually attract the ants depending on the protein they consuming. Wipe out the trail with something similar to bleach. Sugar and borax works better for roaches.
