Anywho I have never listened to a full project of Mozzy but I have liked the little that I have heard of him.
Will give this one a listen when it drops.

Both his diss tracks bang and maybe in Sac and Oakland Philthy is respected and they siding with him on the beef

I've recently fell into a deep rabbit hole of Bay Area/more underground Cali rap - Stalin, Philthy, Mozzy, Joe Blow, June etc. There's some of my favourite talent out there now.

But among this Philthy and Mozzy beef, It's made me realise that while Philthy is an OK lyricist but a better musician and good at creating consistent material, Stalin, Mozzy, Blow and etc. are actually much better lyricists and consistently put out better music, lyrically. Philthy has a slightly better ear for beats though.

Regardless of if Philthy put Mozzy on, Mozzy kills him lyrically SO often. Philthy has clapped back with Troublesome 59 and used to spit harder, but even so, Mozzy's output for spitting raw gutter shyt has been better.
