Real hoods there's no need to go to specific isolated parts to prove a point. I should be able to go anywhere (Detroit, Baltimore, Saint Louis, ect) and feel that vibe. If you have to go out of your way to look for negativity, than the general city vibe has to be good.
And for the record, I've been to the worst areas in Sacramento.

First of all, the hood is the demographic. Sacramento is 90% non-blacks. So it isn't the hood anyway period.
Second of all, yeah if the environment looks nice, it probably is. How are you a product of your environment if your actually environment is comfortable? Sounds like some skitzo nut-jobs who want it to be one way no matter what. Yaw watched TV too hard and want your life to be that way at all costs, even though the crime numbers are low and the financial economic numbers are high.

The only one on the outside looking in is you. If you think Sacramento or the Northern California is bad than you're either spoiled and never really been around nothing, or your a skitzo nut job.
When you talk about the environment (States, cities, counties, ect) your talking about the dad to day living experience in general. NOT isolated incidents, but on a grand scale. Northern California is the richest, safest area in the country and one of the best areas to live in THE WORLD. These are facts. To even pretend that the best area to live in the world is somehow "grimey" and "ghetto" is asinine.
You wouldn't last 24 hours in the places I've lived or in my shoes period. Especially if you think Sacramento is bad.

Mozzy is a decent rapper, better than his peers and even the people he raps with in his camp (which is a gift and a curse because he has nothing to aspire too being better than everyone else already). As far as the other stuff no I don't know anything about him, which would be my answer no matter what the truth was.

Sacramento isn't comparable to begin with because it was never an industrial city, the economy in Sacramento never tanked in the 70s & 80s the same way it did in Detroit, Baltimore, etc.
It tanked exactly the same way in Oakland and Richmond though when the car plants and the military ceased operations. The only real difference is the weather, if you don't maintain a house in Baltimore/St. Louis/Detroit the elements will fukk it up a lot quicker than out here.
You clearly never went to either Oakland or Richmond at any period before or shortly after the tech boom, the gentrification of the East Bay been going on since 2003. Hoods like the Lower Bottoms and Dogtown are completely unrecognizable from what they were back then, shyt was literally the same as any hood in Baltimore, Detroit, etc.
