MP3 vs C.D.

even though i been listening to nothing but streams lately (spotify) i thought we should have a discussion on physical or digital.

To me, MP3s dont have that personal feel nawmean. With CDs you remember the weather, the smells and what you was doing around the time you bought the cd. i still remember purchasing The Documentary in texas The buzz was so fukkin heavy for this guy. Evrybody was listening to that cd. i still member it being cold, gray skies.

physical is beter IMO i will ALWAYS buy a pysical copy of an album if i want to really support the artist or i think it's worth the money. i have barely bought any digital downloads, itunes or otherwise but i think it's the way of the future and i'll probably do it more and more as physical copies become harder to get. having whole collections (up to 500 cds) stolen from house break ins etc has fukked up my collection but one day i would like to get back to a good 500 cd/vinyl collection with all the classics and albums i personally want. for everything else i will probably go to bandcamp rather than itunes because i think it deals more directly with the artist.

there's just something about having everything that comes with the cd tho. plus i know it's different in the US but here in Aus itunes prices are fukking ridiculous. i don't know how they explain charging almost twice as much for a fukking digital download but albums are like $16 here. i can buy a cd off amazon & ship it here for less than 20.

exactly you were doing nothing. when you buy a cd, you flirt with the cashier, you stay in your car smoking an L and bump that shyt on the way home, the whole unwrapping process lol. and other various things when you actually go out and grab the music.
