I'm loving it. I've yet to do any videos of it. It's very easy to use and I figured everything out within a day. I definitely didn't need it, but it's small and I can use it on the go. Smaller than a Live.
I fukked with this for like a half and hour yesterday….. I can’t wait until I can sit down with this

How do I update the software? Can I manually chop on this? Like scroll through the sample and select what part I want ? I don’t like to auto chop

I've never made a beat in my life.
I've never used one of these things.
But I got one in my cart with enough money to cop it, no problem.
G.A.S. is a motherfukker and part of me feels I should be looking around for more beginner friendly/cheaper samplers to cut my teeth on but..I dunno.
Bout to cop this and the Stylophone Voice Portable sampler and try my best to get acquainted with sampling/beat making.

Yes you can manually chop. When you hit the chop button, just turn it all the way right, then you'll be in manual mode. Play the sample and place your chops where you want them. You can fine tune them using the K1 or K2 knobs or the larger knob on the right . You can extract each chop to its own pad by hitting shift and the leftmost black button on the top will say extract. You don't have to extract the chops to sequence them or make a beat (I usually don't) but it's a dope feature.
