Melli can be that in the short term, but we'd have to improve our team defense for that to work.

Gentry should have been gone a year or two ago, but I have a feeling even if we don't make the playoffs they'll use the bubble as an excuse for at least giving him another year which I think is a mistake.
I agree Niko plays hard as hell on D, he can for sure give them stretches at the 5. Niko is a good rebounder also, dude plays very physical low key.

There's a reason why Zion was the consensus #1 pick and it wasn't close; top 3 talent the league has seen since Bron. KD and AD are his only competition for that honor :wow:

Oh and that's also what happens when skinny toothpick guards run up on Jrue Holiday :ufdup:
He literally averaged the most ppg as a rookie since Jordan (23.6 at shut down, will be over 24 by the final game most likely). Shaq, Iverson, Blake are the next 3 since 1984

Zion needs to be locked onto a treadmill and have a dietician follow him around wherever he goes. Dude needs to lose weight if he wants to last in this league.

If dude was healthy all year he would have averaged close to 30, I've never seen an NBA player score so easily :picard:. Nobody, EVER.

shyt Shaq made it look easy but even he had to bang thru nikkas a few times, as soon as Zion puts the ball on the floor no big can stay in front of him, he is gone and he attacks quick which is something I been waiting years for bigs to do.

I understand the effect of it, but bigs waiting for the double or shyt like Melo mid range triple threat iso patience is SO unnecessary at times.

Zion gets the ball and goes INSTANTLY. Why more bigs don't do this will always amaze me

That's how Amare Stoudemire used to

attack opposing big men off the face up.

Up until Zion, he was the best I've seen at

that.He attacked the rim relentlessly.With

violent tenacity.I'm waiting for puzzy azz

DeAndre Ayton to show some of that.I

don't think this dude has shot a single

free throw since entering the bubble.

his lack of aggression will keep him

from being a star in the league

Amar'e is low key my 4th favorite player to watch EVER.

Yea u right, I always said Amar'e was the best finisher in NBA history from a post up face up (pick and roll too), but even Amar'e had to work to get buckets at times. It looks like Zion doesn't even have to try that hard to score 30, he will be a walking 28-32ppg nikka at least until year 6-7 when the body starts to fatigue. Hope my nikka stays in shape.

Yes Zion plays hard, but he makes it look so easy to score you think everybody else on the court is slacking.
