I have said on here before, judging nikkas strictly based off their car or sneakers is some dumb shyt, i know country club type cacs with money (who's sons i used to work with), who ride around in an old model ford truck and shyt to do their errands and hang out etc, but they own mad land, have other cars other than the Ford they roll around in,etc....if you saw them out and about and didn't know who they were, you wouldn't know if they had long money or not...a car is just a car, and shoes too

The second bolded is true too. Black people don't know wealth. I remember going out with my godbrother and his white friends once. Me and my godbrother were fresh to death. One of the dudes with us wore some ugly new balances, a faded baseball cap and a green/brown jacket He grew up in Greenwich, CT. I chuckled seeing that. Alot of wealthy people understate their wealth as much as they can. They don't want people knowing they have money. They play it down as much as possible or display it in non-obvious ways. It's usually people who grew up poor that want to broadcast how much they're making.

I know a lot of brehs on here will disagree with the sentiments, but i actually have to agree with these 2 posters, i noticed this too after being around old money cacs and their sons/grandsons

White people do this alot, I deal with alot of richer wife folk and outside of a sports car you'd swear them dudes was playing some MMO 24/7 with the lights off.

Old shoes, same old blue jeans and white tee's with pit stains.

Balling out of control with either massive land, stock, or inheritance.



Another thing I notice is alot of wealthy people live at home for a longer period of time than others.

I been around alot of rich cacs. Most of them like to downplay their wealth. Half of the time the people you see in those big gaudy mansions, driving luxury vehicles are new to money. Alot of old money cacs hide in plain sight with the other upper middle class people in nice but, normal houses and nice but, normal cars. But then you find out they own beach houses on the coast They own horses and boats They taking vacations to Europe at the drop of the dime They let information about what they do for a living slip and it's way more lucrative than the lifestyle they present

Yep....and before someone claims i did, i never said "no white ppl do it" , it WAS a generalization though and from my experience, a true one. And overall, even the ones who do floss, flossing isn't their #1 priority, the way it is for too many AAs, like i said, owning land, houses, or a small business, some investments, or SOMETHING is going to come first for cacs with money, then the flashy expensive car, expensive watches, etc and even then they aren't as "look at me" about it, they're more nonchalant, its nothing to them.

For some of us, the fake-flossing is the basic imitation of SOME cacs wealth without the actual financial backing and wealth needed to fully pull it off. Hence the Benz example, along with the old cac with land, homes, etc who drives the regular old ford truck

Materialism is sometimes a temporary mechanism to cope with the racist society we deal with, plus some of us grew up without those things so we prioritize buying them like a child who wants to impress his classmates. Nobody's saying it's wrong to be somewhat flashy, but a lot of the time, our ppl will be overly flashy/floss to give the impression we're balling, before even owning anything of importance first i.e. a PROPERTY, HOUSE, BUSINESS or SOME TYPE OF INVESTMENTS, etc

I've been around a lot of them too, mainly certain areas i used to live, i used to be Active Duty, then went Reserves, partied and been to the homes of some of these cac dudes with rich pops, smoked cigars with em and shyt, like you said they own beach houses, that them and their fam go out to, own property and/or rent out houses, or have a business, etc. They didn't get their money by running out buying a luxury car to stunt before they bought the important stuff first, some of the ones i knew drove regular cars, not beaters but just regular, and they owned at least one nicer, more expensive car but didn't ride around in it all time, usually only drove it to certain events and shyt

Are thoose same finanical opportunities offered to people of color like they are to rich white people? When your literally snaking people out of there money you better be inconspicuous and unassuming. " Hey I'm just like you common people." "Ok cool can you invest in us and our community?
