I would if the cops wanted my ass for popping 2 of their own, and him going to jail for forcibly touching ass, on top of that hanging over his head the assault he seen the writing on the wall he probably would done at least 15-20 since he would get painted as the ringleader and trouble maker. Then he fakes his death, and gets away with it for almost four months even after Dateline.
