Ken Anderson was released from TNA Wrestling after he
failed a drug test … and multiple backstage sources tell us it was
given to him after he appeared to be under the influence during a match.

Sources with knowledge of the situation tell us the match against Eric Young was supposed to air on January 19th, but Anderson looked so bad in the ring they had to remove it from the show.

We’re told he was immediately forced to take a drug test backstage, then sent home.

As we previously reported, Ken recently proclaimed “F**K TNA” at an ICW show while announcing he was no longer with the company.

Pro Wrestling Sheet attempted to reach Anderson for comment. So far, no word back.

We also attempted to reach TNA officials for comment. No word back
either, but sources tell us management is hoping Ken gets some sort of
treatment.

This is kind of sad. I remember when Bischoff was in TNA and he had Anderson he said something to the effect of he wished he had a 100 Anderson's on the roster. I think Hogan was real high on him as well. What a miserable descent.

Backstage News on TNA's Reported Big Plans for Ken Anderson Prior to His Release

As we noted last week, Ken Anderson was fired from TNA Wrestling after he failed a drug test for pills at the January 19th Impact Wrestling tapings in Bethlehem, PA.

According to Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com, prior to his release from TNA, Anderson was in line for a big push. Sources note that despite not being used much on Impact Wrestling in 2015, TNA’s creative team was looking to give Anderson’s character a new lease on life with a talk show segment.

The segment — called “Huh?” with Mr. Anderson — aired on January 12th and producers planned to make it a reoccurring segment after they were happy with how it it turned out. You can read more on this developing story at this link.

That "Huh?" segment was awful. This was a blessing in disguise if you ask me. Who could have watched that Huh segment and thought "we need to bring this back". On another note, I'm fearful of TNA's assessment of talent if they truly believed all of this.
