probably the project i've listened to the most this year, dunno how marketable breh is tho
one of my favorite mixtapes/album this year, if not THE favorite.
Its amazing to me that a lo t of folks listened to this and expected dude to be one dimensional ignant party rapper and was disappointed when they found out he wasn't.
And that's just too bad, cause that's real person shyt. Dude is just.... extremely open on this project.
But I get it, though. people don't like when artists go form talking about chillin in the tub to scratching the metaphysical surface of time (eXquire drops gems on his personal philosophy all through this album) to getting head in 5 bars or less.
ANd this album is full of that stuff. Somebody looking for an album full of songs like "Illest nikkas Breathin" might be put off when a song like "Cherry Raindrops" or "Running" comes on. Somebody hoping for a lot of "Paper Hearts" is going to wonder why the hell is a song like "Orbz" on here. Songs like "Vanilla Rainbows". I can see a nikka hearing "Hoes I Don't Remember" and being amped up for some bytch dissing freaky talez and being disappointed when they realize what the song is REALLY about.
But it's literally all in yo heads, nikkas. eXquire really, really, REALLY sounds like a dumb nikka rapper. He's not. He's a smart regular nikka rapper having fun doing ignant nikka shyt, like we all are prone to doing. Or.... is it the other way around?
Either way it go, this dude flow is fukking crazy. And he don't need anybody's approval.

and the blue version only improved on something that was already one of the best releases of the year...honestly, if this ain't in someone's top 10 (or top 5 really) of 2013, I know your opinion ain't worth considering
