AOTY for me so far in 2025, album is absolutely fire :whew:

Easily his best project since "Kismet". This album has so many highlights..... I've been keeping 'Desire Y.O.U.' and 'Y.O.Uprint' on repeat all damn day.

"I've been hurting for a loooooooong time"
full

I pretty much fukk with every song on this album except for "Side Fx" and "The Magician" where he talks about the meaning of "YOU!!!!" :krs:

The Blu track is crazy, low key feel like Blu got eXo. Son was spitting hard as hell like he was on Oh No/ Elzhi's album.

I feel the greatness from this album, is due to him having mainly one producer (KRILL) on most of the album. It kept the project cohesive, and I know he's worked with him in the past on previous projects so it sounds like they found their groove ( :dame: )

"Soloist" is prolly my favorite track overall with DJ ATrack. Love that eXo finally did what I've been wanting him to do and sample Cappa's infamous line from "Iron Maiden" - "Every evening, I have a by myself meeting" :wow:

But yeah I don't see this leaving my rotation for a long time, and when you play this with Y.O.U. Vol. 1, you hear they compliment each other nicely, even tho Vol. 2 is a better project overall. However, Y.O.U. Vol. 1 has the hardest track of both albums with "West Indian Archie" (eXo be spittin).

I really hope that his return to rapping is a bit more permanent and he starts to release more material. I think he would do well in a 1 producer/rapper project. A full length with him and Alchemist would be great. ALC has already worked with him in the past so why not?

Word, sounds good in theory. But per eXo's words ALC ain't fukking with him like that anymore. He tried reaching out to him when he was working on his comeback and said Al left him on read and ignored his DM. He addressed it on X/Twitter once a fan asked why him and Al haven't been cooking up.

And you can tell eX feels away about it that's why the 2 opening bars of this album he threw a dart at ALC and called out 3 rappers who Al has produced singles for recently Kendrick (Meet The Grahams) and Benny/Cole (Johnny P's Caddy).

Its a shame too cause eX and ALC have some heaterz together... damn :snoop:

I was not aware of all that shyt going on between them. Wonder what the origin is of that animosity?

Well exquire had a few tracks done by madlib, maybe that's on the table :russ:

This definitely comes though in his music. Can see that he's been on the spiritual self discovery journey and that's dope to hear. Can't stay stagnant forever.

I'm rather interested to know what he does outside of music. There's no way he makes enough off music to do it full-time and I don't think he does that many shows. Does he have a day job?
