This is his most cohesive project since kismet and possibly his best yet. Will have to give it many more spins but he is RAPPIN his ass off on this and the production is a little less avant garde than some of his other projects. I fukk with it

This is def one of his best projects yet. Been giving this a lot of spin lately. There's just not many rappers out there with his level of skill, uniqueness, sense of humor, jewels, eclecticness, etc

He is utterly unique in the shyt he raps about coupled with how he raps about it. dude will namedrop an obscure comic or cartoon character, weave in a reference to frantz fanon, then have a line about microdosing and meditating, only to have another line about how all his bytches butt naked too much to ever worry about fashion

His is that rare blend of deep thinking educated nerd with grimey ass rugged hood dude, misogynistic and hopelessly romantic at times, braggadocios while being introspective and honest about his flaws. Couple all that with a great voice for rapping, great technical skill as a writer, and an elite flow with great breath control and you have one of the best rappers doing it. Period.

The fact that he has been overlooked and underrated his entire career post Huzzah fame is an absolute crime.

I really hope that his return to rapping is a bit more permanent and he starts to release more material. I think he would do well in a 1 producer/rapper project. A full length with him and Alchemist would be great. ALC has already worked with him in the past so why not?

I see some of the similarities there for sure. DOOM is absolutely a GOAT writer and probably a bit more tight with his technical skill. Exquire has a leg up with his delivery and energy though.


I don't think DOOM could deliver this type of vocal performance and hit that same pocket
