That's exactly what I said. That shot of them walking with Tyrell in front and Elliot/Mr. Robot on each side seems like it was telling us something. Hell this whole episode seemed to hint at that revelation.
Tyrell complaining that Elliot always wears the same clothes AND the gas station clerk recognizing him as Mr. Wellick is what's leading me down that theory
