:salute:OP Mr.T might be one of the most positive black men in media. The guy was a movement back in the day. Altho, Clubber Lang threw me for a loop as a child. This man even had his own cereal. I remember it tasting awful tho. Pity the fools who ate that cereal.

Movement is right, people now just don't get it. This man was talking about emancipation, slavery, history, mental strength and putting a confidence battery in kids backs in the 80s.

Watch the Letterman interview I linked in the OP and its all there. Dude had a platform and used it for empowerment and good by kicking raw facts at suburban and ghetto households at every chance he got. Theres a reason that you didn't see any more conscious slash alpha black role models after that because he took his chance and ran with it and you can tell T spoke his mind and not that media trained BS that so many are on to this day.

It goes to show how far one mans influence can reach as well as the light it casts into the shadows as it shines.



Miss me with that Christian talk but damn the brother drops gems in this interview too and just seems like a honest, good dude who could've done bad but chose to be good.
