First episode is meh

I didn’t like them changing her powers BUT that grab was kinda dope…

Too much teenage shyt though. I don’t mind the religion stuff… this should definitely be a one and done

Episode 2 better. I like that they said the power comes from within. Still not really in love with the power change (because you know.. chick could grow to be a giant as well).

Culture stuff was alright mainly because i never been in a mosque…

Unless something special happens, probably will be the last episode I watch for awhile. A few coworkers said it was very kiddy and I see what they mean.

And I don’t mind they religion stuff because I actually like Bollywood type movies. They’re hilarious

Zoe clearly doesn't live in JC because her family place is massive....if she did, it would mean they were loaded which is even more confusing. Why is a rich girl going to a public school in JC? The rich don't really mingle with the poors/ non-rich like that. I don't even thik Kamala lives in JC either....

Unless its a magnet school but there are much better choices when you money. Plus I those school around here have dress codes, this kids dress like thots.

I'm loving this show. This is perhaps the best Disney+ MCU show. It's so lively and fun. This young girl is killing it as Kamala. Still hate the powerset change, but at least they acknowledge she already had them.

Show was filmed in Atlanta, plenty of hipster places intown you can make look like New Jersey. I'm sure they did a B-roll in new Jersey but that's it

Ms. Marvel was partially filmed in Jersey City — but not to the extent that you’re probably hoping for. To give the series that authentic Jersey feel, some secondary filming was done in and around Jersey City in the spring of 2021. That means that while the show was filming scenes elsewhere, a secondary camera unit was up in Hudson County, New Jersey getting footage to be used for exteriors and establishing shots, stuff like that.


If you’re a Marvel Studios nerd, then you probably know the answer to this already: Ms. Marvel was primarily filmed in Atlanta, Georgia. The southern city has been the home of nearly every Marvel Studios production for like, 5 years or so. Ms. Marvel was no different, as filming for the series was primarily conducted at Atlanta’s Trilith Studios starting in November 2020. Additional filming took place at Blackhall Studios and Areu Brothers Studios, also in the Atlanta area.

But Ms. Marvel wasn’t just an Atlanta production. Filming also took place in Bangkok and at the Studio Park Thailand facilities in the spring of 2021. The series even got special permission to continue filming as COVID protocols were put in place and most other filming was paused

Latin X is a gender neutral term for people of latin decent. Latino (man), Latina (woman), Latin X = Either/or.

I don't have a problem with it but most people of latin decent aren't jumping to use it, mostly a thing for white liberals.

I wonder how Muslim‘s feel about this. I know the character was created by a White Muslim, and White people no matter the background love to place their Western values on different ethic groups. Honestly if White people weren’t always so loud in what they believe, I wouldn’t think twice about it.

Muslims were loving Ms Marvel comics early run. I'm not sure where she falls now, or how they view the TV series since it's a different crop of fans. Overall, Kamala is loved.

Just watched the 2nd episode and enjoyed it . Digging the pacing so far, they didn't waste time with her exploring her powers or the Feds coming after her. And I liked how the episode ended.
