Yes, watch, it’s a little homey/campy, but the production value and all the shyt happening makes up for it. It’s also cool that they show different cultures/religion that a lot of viewers know absolutely nothing about. I don’t give a frogs fat ass if it’s considered “woke”, education/knowledge/exposure to things that are different will always be a great thing to me.

I think the reason Marvel called an audible and turned Captain Marvel 2 into The Marvels is to give Kamala Khan more screen time and make it more equally focused on the Carol and her.

I'm sure they did. also hope they call another audible and change the Carol character a little. even if it means making her "funny," b/c she has the corniest lines in the MCU and when she's being a "tough girl" it's kinda lame. they need to make that character more likable in the next movie, and pairing her with Kamala should definitely help. Plus Monica was a pretty good character, and she's a lead too.

This is what shows are for. There are literally threads here complaining about the MCU not knowing where its going and being all over the place. The shows are actually giving you motivations and links that will set up the bigger fight. Already a good link to a recent movie in the flashback. I'm guessing that's the other one?

Ok, cool, if you don’t like it, you don’t like it. I think it is geared more towards kids, youngins’, but it is entertaining for everyone, but again, I can see why some folks wouldn’t like it, it is pretty heavy on the religion part. I think it’s cool that there is that aspect of it.
