Man WTF is wrong wit u nikkas thinkin that the only people who don't have constant net connection is broke?..do yall nikkas REALLY live in that small of a box?...plus..ANYTHING could happen to knock u offline for a few days...wouldn't u atleast want the CHOICE of playing ur console and single player games or offline multiplayer in the meantime?...nikka the PC don't even pull this shyt and that's the main internet platform...this shyt is stupid and yall are fukkin wildin for defending this ANTI CUSTOMER business practice...they basically tellin u you don't own shyt...it's unbelievable how people can be this loyal to a company regardless of how their treated...
the only thing that can knock you off line for a few DAYS is the same thing that will knock your power out for a few days... a power outage. therefore no power, no console gaming.
yall are making stuff up. show me records of how your internet was OUT for a few days but your power wasnt? then let me ask who was your service provider?
i got wack time warner. hate their service, slow at times, and down during others. but i have NEVER...EVER ... experience multiple days off line. NEVER. if that happens its because the electricity is also out in the community.
OR you didnt pay your bill.
stop making up abstract scenarios that only happen once every blue moon IF THAT.
and please understand. all this yapping yall doing dont mean nothing.
PROOF. how many CD's of music are you running around with nowadays? not many if any right. its pretty much ALL DIGITAL. you do realize ITUNES is DRM right? you do realize even when you dont get your stuff from itunes, the copyright laws and what not have it made so that you cant technically give music to a friend via file sharing. sure you can do it. and you may never get caught for it. but its NOT LEGAL per the rules.
Your music, all of it. is already DRM. you still crying to the RIAA about it? NOPE.
thats cause you like the convenience of all digital music. easy to move files around from friend to friend. easy to preview music without having to go into a store. easier to listen to music even if you left your CD at home. you can pull it up where..... on the cloud, stream it.
thats exactly the direction gaming is going in. you can cry now but this is the future if we like it or not. we didnt punk them from making those laws with music. so we aint punking the gaming industry now. in a matter of a few years. it will be all digital, no disc. get ready for it and get use to it or stop buying the new consoles. period.
