And this is when you start to feed your parents/family information. I’ve been telling my mom about DOS for months now. I also introduced her to a president hopeful that’s for DOS reparations. Start the talk now so our parents can be on board by the 2020 election.

That's missing the point, there's a chance to bring the platform to mainstream cable news RIGHT NOW but I need to tell MY parents for 2020 :dead: I'm fortunate enough to say me and my pops talk politics a lot but everybody isn't privileged to have that kinda dynamic. A lot are watching MSNBC and getting their talking points as is. Yvette and Tone are being extremely shortsighted and reactionary in their response to this whole thing and it's pretty :hhh: to see. Especially to be some muhfukkas talmbout they been building this for years.

Tariq retweeted Yvette's post

If Tariq and Yvette link up :wow:

MSNBC just fukked up and made it worse for Kamala. These MSNBC/Blavity negroes are so out of touch with black society it's not even funny.
Was surprised by this. I know TBA and PBT vehemently can’t stand Yvette but have been forced to follow her and Tone’s lead. Jason specifically is now talking reparations but several months back was giving Yvette a hard time for basing her platform off that subject

I believe Tone & Yvette mentioned that they would publically debate Joy Reid on today’s show. I also don’t think that they should rush into a national stage if they are not ready. For instance, I had a great AA professor who questioned Obama’s legitimacy & loyalty to black people before 2008. He got on a nationally platform & was completely dismissed. Now, 10 years later, everything that he said about Obama was most likely correct, but his mission of holding Obama to task was halted b/c he got a national platform that he wasn’t ready for. Timing & preparation is everything.

Furthermore, I don’t think we have the luxury of waiting for them to get a national stage. It’s not like their talking points are beneficial to the dems or republican parties, so why would they be offered a platform? I’m just saying, spread the word now so we can vote in our best interest regardless of Yvette/Tone making their transition to the national spotlight.
