Bro what? Are you even reading what I'm posting or is this just bad faith arguing? The stats are taken from the people RECEIVING pell grants. Not the percentage of everyone in college or in the US population

This is the graph you posted.

That 32% number you see reflects the percentage of whites attending college receiving a pell grant.

32% of white folks that attended college received a pell grant.

When you take the total amount of white folks in college and multiply it by 32% (.32) I'm willing to bet that number is greater than the total amount of black people in college.


White folks are by far and away the #1 recipient of pell grants. There are probably more white people receiving pell grants than black people even in college.

I don't think it would be that drastic because being eligible for a pell grant is a specific requirement in and of itself. At this point I'd just want to see the actual numbers to see how many black people receive the pell grant compared to white people. I saw one university posted their numbers where black people edged out white people in 2020-2021

At a glance it looks like your chart is saying what percentage of the demographic populations get grants. So his statement would be correct in that case, because the White population is larger.
