You're the first person I've seen that actually liked the latest Lupe album. Those beats were terribad.

The beats were good enough, the lyrics carried that album. It's the most unapologetically pro-black album in a long time. But I think the concept flew over everyone's heads.

Maybe Lu should have made up a make believe story about gang banging and trying to phuck a chick in a rival hood :whoa:

A really lyrical cat is at the top of the list..off an album filled with content thats the opposite of whats popular to talk about...
:bomani::bomani::bomani:

So Kendrick doesn't talk about women, weed, and weather?

This is what I'm talking about. Why is he getting all these passes?

He ain't hopping all over club tracks cuz that's not his lane, but he's making noise as far as having probably the most discussed album of 2012. Damn near every other artist drops an album, people ride it, and it's on to the next one three weeks later, both online and amongst my personal friends gkmc is continually discussed...that's being the hottest, especially if you don't need to be on every track on the radio to sustain the hype

This x100 though

If Ross doesn't get Drake and Weezy for hot collaborations again, he's pretty much done with. He can't even drop a solo single anymore. Barely made it through GFID... That Meek & Wale money probably got him lazy.
