MTV was never for nikkas. They always had ulterior cac motives. Y'all lost for expecting nikkas to come out on top yesterday

Thing is, though.. it shyts on the white community as, well. Defiantly not in the same sense.. but we mostly watch it for the fukkery and embarrassment, too. We don't expect any respectable artist to be awarded. Most of the the white people I know don't fukk with ANYTHING that awarded. If anything, it's just another mtv pop awards show for teenagers.. people 20 and above don't listen to that crap. We're actually listening to more rap than ever.. and it's defiantly not Mackelmore. we ain't no cheesy pop loving fakkits.

As far as it's concerned, MTV has been dead to me since the 90s.

But really, if what I hear is true...then MTV just seriously shytted all over Brooklyn.

Brooklyn is NOT Manhattan. Should of had that garbage at the MET.

This just seems like some BS to me...MTV's coming to Brooklyn! the Home of Hip-hop (to gentrifiers who view NYC and Brooklyn as some superficial void or an extension of their college campus) at Barclay's!

I try to not be too critical or harsh, but why do I see this "homecoming" as nothing more than a byproduct of gentrification cheerleading?

I saw threads yesterday about jay possibly performing Brooklyns Finest c'mon now. This shyt is supposed to attract 13 year old girls. That's their target audience.
