They never ran this many back to back. They usually run a season of The Real World in between. At 1 point they went almost 2 years without 1
Do we know if they get paid even a little just for being on the show?
They all get paid just for appearing on the show. I was listening to a podcast where they were said Bananas was making as much as some of the winners just for showing up since he's 1 of the faces of the show
at least he wasn’t getting in the way and literally commentating every 30 damn seconds. Damn shut the fukk up! We know you are a former real world alum, and challenge contestant, and challenge champ... and wwe champ. Yes we already fukking know it!! Just PLEASE shut the hell up already. 
You get paid to be on reality tv, I know they did it on bad girls club & the real world. It’s like an allowance, but Im sure on this show they get a bit more to deal with the elements. The perks is the vacation & a bonus is the money if you win.
