imo, a lot of people are just TOO sensitive to comments being made. I blame a lot of it on lack of dialogue on the subject of race in america.[ this country refuses to acknowledge slavery & reparations, but is willing to pay $$$ to other groups of people who have been done wrong by the united states..but thats another post] Particularly the ones that aren't overt racist remarks. We are in the United States: this is a white man's world. if you are born white with a dikk and balls you are good. you have a significant advantage over everyone else. you are allowed to say and do shyt that's totally out of pocket & get away with it. you [as well as white woman too] are even allowed to be indifferent concerning issues of race, because it doesn't really concern you. Only if/when some prominent white people stand up & say something is it addressed as having a level of importance. most so called "prominent blacks" are taking their cue from whites & not really taking a stand on issues. MTV is a corporation who started out not giving a shyt about blacks [refer to the michael jackson threatened boycott] & currently have regulated black programming to some c00nin' each other ["wildin' out"-if its still on I never watch that station]. I mean they are sitting on classic programming with yo! mtv raps and haven't released or replayed full episodes yet. they don't care about us. neither does ANY of the viacom based programming. we already KNEW this, so why do any comments made from this group surprise us or get us screaming racist? when people show you who they are, believe them. don't be surprised when they do what they do.while I'm on this particular "rant" I'd like to say, we as blacks are at fault for not only doing the aforementioned c00n shyt, as well as the chastising of one another in a public setting, but also perpetuating the shuck n jive mentalities found in our tv, music and sports entertainment; something as simply as using the phrase "nikka" in these areas, to me, is wrong. how can we then be ready to attack whites when they use it, whether its the way we use it or not? we all know they copy us, wanna be us. Yet we pepper songs & daily dialogue with the word, like its cool. [I use the word, but NEVER around anyone except my black peers]. how do we as blacks support black dudes who kiss other dudes, wear dresses, dance with other dudes, with the toe rings and man purses and skirts and blouses, popping mollys and sweating..wtf? [if that comment isn't politically correct and some think its homophobic, so be it. I'm a heterosexual black man, and thats what I am about. period.] mufukkaz kill me with the whole black lives matter whenever whites abuse the law and kill us [which is WRONG].. YET A SEGMENT OF OUR POPULATION KILL ONE ANOTHER EVERYDAY. then we have the audacity to be mad at people who support trump WHEN WE REFUSE TO MOBILIZE & UNIFY, ORGANIZE & UNITE. when comments are made, I take a mental note but for me to be outraged screaming racism is stupid when a lot of "us" represent the dumb nikka that "they" say we are, hope for us to be and more importantly sit back and wait for because they always have someone feeding into the stereo type.
