If the show is revamped, and shows real and different interesting shyt, I'm all for it. If it's a bunch of McMansions, over the top common 'designer' shyt, and rented Lambos located in the sticks an hour outside of Atlanta...who gives a fukk

That's true. As much as it felt like during and after the pandemic, there was a bit of an awakening (wish I could think of a better word) and a lot of people have evolved, or got back to basics, or even just scaled down on consumerism... there's always going to be a ton of people who see a full sized basketball court in some rapper's suburban Atlanta house with the Chanel logo painted in the center, and say "that's motivation!"
i think there's going to be a lot of crossover between the revamped Cribs audience and the people who go out of their way to watch streams from the Roc Nation Brunch every year.
There's always going to be an audience for this shyt. AD was approaching it from a little bit of a different point of view and leveled it up. I want to say MTV is going to have to do something different for it to be successful, but in reality they don't.
The biggest problem with the Industry is that they refuse to adapt.
This is why I don't have cable, I just pay the 10 bucks a month for Premimum.
