I haven't seen in the second episode yet, but I was thinking the blood/cut on Randy's face was just misdirection? Common thread in horrors to throw out a character with a timely injury to imply guilt. If it really is him, with 8 episodes to go, that's not a good look, as a first opinion.

They explained it in the episode...it wasn't blood, it was spray paint from when he put "DOOSH" on the a$$hole jock's truck.

Also the opening murder would have been much better if the show actually spent more time with the sad lesbian girl and showed us how fukked up her life was with the depression and the bullying over a few more episodes. This type of horror is most effective when it can make you feel something for the characters that are about to die horrible deaths. If the audience doesn't feel something (whether it is liking or hating a character) then their deaths are just hollow.

So far the only characters I like and will care about when they die are the nerd virgin and the Asian chick. Everyone else is imminently forgettable and can;t die soon enough.
