I can't believe they're actually going through with this. I thought it got cancelled, but nope they're actually going to try and shyt on a British classic. If nothing else, the sheer crappyness of this version will make people get interested in seeing the show done right and supporting the original version. Maybe we'll even get another season or a second movie

Just watched this show over the weekend from a mention in the Netflix thread and loved it. I tried to watch Skins on MTV after watching the original and couldn't make it past the 1st episode.

saw this recently, its one of the worst things ive ever seen. no hyperbole. the british version is gold, this wont even work in the format they have it in. making Jay a fat kid ruins the character entirely, and having them in a regular high school is also stupid.
