Before u jumped out da window its a few things u shouldve considered , yea Mudiay may have won da athleticism battle but D'Angelo has a natural feel for da game , Mudiay is an athlete playing basketball but Russell is a ball player playing ball if u can understand what im saying , da risk u take when drafting these high athleticism players is they may never figure out how to actually play basketball , where a player with a natural feel for da game can carve out a long career jus off dat , once da athlete loses da physical gifts its all downhill from there if they never truely learn da game , dis not a knock on Mudiay cuz really it comes down to what you value in a ball player , im a Lakers fan but i believe if u switch them two Mudiay would be a better Laker than Russell but Russell would be a better Nugget than Mudiay , but ehh dats jus ma two cents

He shot well in mid to late Dec but for some reason he can't buy a basket lately.

Is Nelson mentoring him?
He's just sucking and playing scared.

I'm not sure if this is the same pattern from last season, however one would at least expect improvement without taking half the season.

Denver
Thing is, Mudiay was billed as this John wall type athlete coming into the draft but it's been a year and a half and I haven't seen it. He showed good passing vision last year but he's playing scared this year. I still think he'll develop into a solid PG, like a George hill type guy, and that's really all Denver needs out of him with the offense running thru Jokic.
