The Roger Stone case is very complex and revealed a lot of fukkery. I don't even recall if he ever sat down with Mueller for an interview?
He must have been heated to write an op ed for the WP. Dude is really the last of an era. People romanticized, Mueller, who was essentially a humble civil servant, who still attends bible study with Bill Barr and his wife. A different world of Washington DC power circles.

Mueller did not write this, and he didn't run his investigation. He was and is a figurehead.Also, despite Mueller('s Team) arresting and prosecuting Trump associates for a wide ray of offenses that were not a Russian Conspiracy, he never exposed the origins of the Russia Conspiracy allegations.
That's because his true mission was to legitimize the illegitimate Crossfire Hurricane operation. In that respect, he was a success. Few people question it to this day, and only lament Mueller's failure to oust Trump.
